What’s New in Groups?
Strike up friendships in our brand-new bowling group Every Tuesday 10:00am – 01:00pm Join our weekly 10-pin bowling group program, where every roll comes with a side of laughter, and fun. This is a supportive and inclusive group program, designed to build connection and capacity in a social environment. It doesn’t matter if you are a pro bowler or this is your first time, it is about coming together and having fun. What’s included? 2 games of bowling weekly Shoe hire Transport to and from bowling (from our Ivanhoe Community Hub) Light snacks and drinks Build genuine connections: Meet others in a supportive, relaxed environment. Have fun while being active: Enjoy light physical activity and social interaction. Feel valued and included: We promote respect for all abilities and backgrounds. Gather at our Ivanhoe Community Hub every Tuesday at 10:00 am. We’ll organize transport to a nearby bowling alley and be back before 1:00 pm. Sessions run weekly over 12 consecutive weeks. |
Art Group: Our art group encourages creativity and self-expression, offering participants a chance to explore their artistic talents while engaging in meaningful conversations. It's more than just creating beautiful pieces—it's about building connections and supporting each other in a relaxed, non-judgmental atmosphere.
The art group meets every Tuesday from 2:00pm to 5:00pm
Movie Group: The movie group provides an opportunity to unwind, enjoy great films, and share opinions in a space where everyone's voice is heard. It's a place where members can bond over shared interests and discuss their favourite movies, all while feeling supported and valued. The Movie group meets weekly on Thursdays 10:00am to 1:00pm
Gaming Group: The gaming group brings people together in a fun, interactive environment where teamwork and social engagement thrive. Whether playing solo or as a team, gaming offers an exciting way for people to connect, challenge themselves, and experience a sense of achievement, all within a safe and inclusive space. The gaming group plays a mix of of board, card and electronic games. The Gaming Group meets weekly on Thursdays 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
