Frequently asked questions and information on booking your trip
Q: What makes Alacrity's day trips so good?
Alacrity was formed with adventure at the core of what we do! We really are passionate about therapeutic intervention done creatively, and we believe that exploring new areas and building new relationships is really important for everybody. We have a little slide for you to further elaborate below.
Q: How can I decide what trips/groups are suitable for me?
Our day trips have been designed transparently. The layout of the day is listed in each day trip section above.

We have day trips that suit all types of interests and fitness levels. To try and be transparent, we have a 1-10 rating system as described below. Please note that this is a general rating system based on feedback and our own experience running the trips. You might find the rating system is different from your own experience of the trip. A rating of 1, the lowest, indicates the least physically demanding trip, whereas 10 indicates a high level of physical activity.

1-3 - Light to minimal activity: These activities generally don't have much physical activity, or on the higher end involve mostly flat surfaces. These are suitable for most fitness levels.
4-7 - Medium activity: These activities vary from being moderate activities to slightly higher demand, usually trips/groups which involve a lot of walking on flat surfaces or less walking on more hilly surfaces.
8-10 - High activity: These activities are quite physically demanding and involve a lot of walking/exercise over the trip. These usually involve features such as steep hills or day-long hikes.

Please note that we have a minimum of two staff on any day trip (pending numbers), so even in more demanding activities, you can usually engage as much or as little as you want in the activities through the day!

If you are unsure, please reach out! We love to have a chat and are always happy to explore what interests/needs you have, and match you with the perfect day trip.
